St Sark, General Overseer of Open Arms Ministry, has expressed his thoughts on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo’s recent comments about his two terms in office. During a press conference at his church, St. Sark emphasized that having two terms doesn’t necessarily mean a government is good, but rather it’s the developmental projects that showcase their accomplishments.
He cited Former President John Agyekum Kuffour as an example of a two-term president, while noting that John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), only had one term in office. St. Sark urged Ghanaians to advise the President to refrain from making statements that put him in a bad light, as they haven’t achieved much for the people.
St. Sark also addressed the issue of misinformation, specifically calling out a journalist, Oheneba Nana Aseidu, for spreading false information about the 2024 election. He appealed to lawyers and prosecutors to take action against the journalist, warning that he will be perturbed if they fail to do so.
Furthermore, St. Sark sent a strong warning to the Electoral Commission (EC) boss, Nanaa Jean Mensah, and the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Akuffo Dampare, to be vigilant about the ballot box and voting ink, as some individuals may attempt to steal votes.
Finally, St. Sark expressed his opinion that Dr. Bawumia is not the right person to lead Ghana, claiming that he is cursed and that anyone who votes for him will also be cursed. Instead, he believes that John Mahama is the right person for the job and urged Ghanaians to vote for him.
