Same can be said of marriage, one day you are happy you found the one, the next day, everything falls down. These Ghanaian celebrities found love but it sadly couldn’t make their unions last.
Here are Ghanaian celebrities who have been through horrible divorces.
1. Abeiku Santana
Abeiku Santana, OKAY FM’s presenter divorced his first wife who went by the name Maggie. The divorce became a never-ending-story when Maggie made ridiculous demands which included ¢60,000 cash and a house.

2. Juliet Ibrahim
Juliet Ibrahim went through a highly-publicized divorce with the father of her son, Kojo Sarfo Jnr., the son of Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo. Juliet Ibrahim made horrible remarks about her former husband who didn’t utter a word.

3. Kwaw Kese
Kwaw Kese was rumored to be dating a white diplomat in Ghana, all went south and after the divorce many claimed Kwaw Kese did it for the “papers” as the rapper was rumored to be holding a diplomatic passport.
4. Jackie Appiah
Jackie Appiah called it quits with her longtime husband and father of her son and has since been single. The media bloated her divorce but Jackie Appiah refused to comment.

5. Christiana Love
Christian Love went through the nastiest divorce ever with her husband, Pastor Love. Several accusations were thrown at each other publicly. After the divorce, the gospel singer changed her name to Obaapa Christy.
6. Captain Planet
Before Uche Ofodile, Captain Planet was allegedly married to one Elizabeth Quarm, nobody knew about it until the former wife ransacked Captain Planet’s home, when she caught wind that the rapper was cheating on her.

7. Nana Ama McBrown
Nana Ama McBrown was once married to an Ashanti chief by name Nana Wiafe Akenten in 2008. The marriage hit the rocks before she dated Okyeame Kwame and now Maxwell Mensah. Nana Ama McBrown prided herself with the name “Nana Yere” meaning wife of a chief and even had a production named after her husband before it all went south.

8. Esther Smith
During the peak of Esther Smith’s career in 2008, she was hit with a very horrible divorce. Her husband of the time, Anthony Smith who was also a reverend minister was accused of cheating on the gospel singer with their housemaid whilst Esther Smith was accused of many shenanigans which almost destroyed her career.
9. Amandzeba – Akosua Agyepong
The two former members of the Ghanaian music group, Nakorex gave the public a distasteful divorce after 15 years of marriage. Akosua Agyepong claimed Amandzeba Nat Brew failed to call home after he traveled abroad. More allegations came to light before the divorce was finalized.
10. Agya Koo
The former top comedian came under public attack when he divorced and got her first wife arrested. Many blasted him for forgetting where he came from. Agya Koo went on radio to radio to trash his wife and make several shocking accusations about her.

When two politicians divorce, of course it won’t be pretty. Joyce Aryee has since ditched politics for a pastoral job, writing and a business.

Kwabena Kwabena is the father of horrible divorces, rumor has it that the smooth singer has been through three divorces, according to our checks, Kwabena Kwabena has divorced twice and is however currently married.
14. Kyeiwaa
Kyeiwaa shocked Ghanaians when her marriage lasted only 5 days. Probably the shortest celeb marriage in the history of Ghana. Kyeiwaa got married to one Daniel Osei aka America Man or Akwasi Bronya who was apparently married to another woman. This cost Kyeiwaa a lot.
